Earlier they used White LEDs and power used to produce green waves of the spectrum was wasted.
Now we use Red (60-70%) and Blue (40-30%) LEDs with less heat and less power consumption.
LEDs allow Vertical growing using limited space for many layers of beds.
We can try our own by making LED panels . 1 LED is around Rs. 2.50.
